USD/JPY Slams Into 156.13/50 Wall as Fed Firms Dollar

Dollar-yen has muscled its way up to the closely watched 156.13/50 resistance band, a zone that has capped rallies before and now faces its toughest test yet. Momentum indicators tell a more cautious story than price action alone.
RSI is printing bearish divergence even as spot pushes higher, a classic warning that upside momentum is fading despite fresh highs. If sellers step in near this ceiling, 155.45 becomes the line in the sand — a break below would tilt the near-term structure back toward the downside.
Until that support gives way, though, the broader trend remains constructive, with dip-buyers likely to defend pullbacks toward the mid-155s while the resistance zone absorbs supply.
