What Is Moneta Markets?

Moneta Markets is an online broker that allows retail and professional traders to trade CFDs. Traders can bet on price changes without owning the actual assets. It does not sell real shares or futures to retail clients. You trade CFDs on forex pairs, stock indices, gold, oil, individual stocks, ETFs, bonds, and some cryptocurrencies.

Moneta Markets started in 2019 as a sister company of Vantage. In 2022, founder and CEO David Bily separated it from the group to operate it independently.

Since then, Moneta Markets has moved its main base to Dubai and continued to expand its regulatory licenses. In August 2025, the UK’s FCA approved Moneta Markets’ purchase of VIBHS Financial Ltd. That firm was renamed Moneta Markets Capital Ltd in October 2025 and now serves UK clients under FCA rules.

The UK business remains small. Revenue doubled to £780,000 in the year to March 2026, and the company returned to profit. The FCA license is active, but most of Moneta’s business still operates through its South African, Mauritian, and Saint Lucia entities.

Moneta Markets targets traders who want low costs and fast execution. Its main offer is the Prime ECN account, with spreads from 0.0 pips, a $3 commission per side, and a $50 minimum deposit. Few brokers offer raw spreads with such a low starting deposit.

Moneta has also expanded beyond its core trading services. It launched the updated ProTrader 2.0 web platform with TradingView charts in July 2026 and introduced Moneta Funded, a prop trading service on Match-Trader, in January 2026. In 2025, it also partnered with Atlético de Madrid to promote its brand in the Asia-Pacific region.

Moneta Markets offers over 1,000 instruments. Traders can use MetaTrader 4, MetaTrader 5, or its own web platform, ProTrader 2.0, which uses TradingView charts.

We spent 30 trading days with real money by registering two Moneta Markets accounts. We checked spreads every five minutes. We placed 300 live market orders, made three withdrawals, and asked support six questions. This review uses our test results and a fresh check of the broker’s claimed licenses.
