easyMarkets Review 2026: dealCancellation Tested & Verified
Risk warning: Trading CFDs and forex carries a significant risk of loss and is not suitable for all investors. 74% of retail investor accounts lose money when trading CFDs with easyMarkets. Past performance is not indicative of future results. You should consider whether you understand how CFDs work and whether you can afford to take the high risk of losing your money.
What Is easyMarkets?
easyMarkets – originally Easy-Forex was founded in 2001 in Limassol, Cyprus. It claims to being one of the first online retail forex trading platforms in the industry. Over more than two decades, the broker has been offering fixed spreads at a time when most of the market had already moved to variable pricing. It is introducing proprietary risk-management tools that remain unique to easyMarkets today.
The broker operates through five licensed entities. Easy Forex Trading Ltd is authorized and regulated by the Cyprus Securities and Exchange Commission. This entity is responsible for onboarding EU/EEA retail clients under full MiFID II protections. easyMarkets Pty Ltd holds an Australian Financial Services License from ASIC, held continuously since 2004. It serves Australian clients under the Corporations Act framework. Three further entities including EF Worldwide Ltd, EF Worldwide Ltd and EF Worldwide (Pty) Ltd extend the broker's reach to non-EU/non-AU clients, with access to significantly higher leverage.
easyMarkets is best known in the industry for dealCancellation™, a patent-pending tool. It lets a trader cancel a losing position within a defined window – 1, 3, or 6 hours. It recovers the invested margin, in exchange for a small upfront fee. This is paired with Freeze Rate™, which lets a trader lock in a displayed price for a short period before committing to a trade. It supports a guaranteed stop-loss order with no slippage, even during fast-moving news events. easyMarkets has won more than 20 industry awards over its operating history and efficient tools. The broker has built a loyal following among traders particularly newer traders who value predictability over the tightest possible headline spread.
In 2026, easyMarkets operates from offices across Limassol, Sydney, Warsaw, and Shanghai. It serves clients in more than 160 countries, with a workforce of roughly 200 staff on compliance, technology, and client services.
For this BrokersProfile review, we opened a live funded Standard account under the CySEC-regulated Cyprus entity. We conducted 27 days of independent testing from June to July 2026. We placed 176 real trades across forex, commodities, and share CFDs. The broker has a dedicated block of trades used specifically to test the dealCancellation and Freeze Rate tools under live market conditions. All performance data cited in this review reflects live testing results on a funded account; no demo account data was used in our cost or execution analysis.
How We Reviewed easyMarkets
We opened a live Standard account under Easy Forex Trading Ltd (CySEC) in the second week of June 2026. We funded our account with $500 via credit card. We conducted all our testing over a 27-day period from 7 June to 3 July 2026. We used real capital; no demo data was collected or used in our analysis.
During our test, we verified regulatory status across all five easyMarkets entities. We monitored live spreads across four trading sessions on both the proprietary fixed-spread platform and MT4/MT5. We analyzed execution speed and full cost breakdown. We tested dealCancellation and Freeze Rate directly with real trades. BrokersProfile assessed all four platforms, initiated customer support queries across three channels, and reviewed verified user sentiment from multiple independent platforms.
Our Live Account Experience
Our account registration was completed online immediately. We submitted profile details including country of residence, employment status, and prior trading experience across asset classes. The registration process took approximately 13 minutes to complete. Our KYC document review cleared in just under 5 hours. It is a fast turnaround relative to several brokers in our 2026 testing program.
Our credit card deposit of $500 was credited to our easyMarkets Standard account instantly. We used the proprietary easyMarkets web platform and mobile app as our primary testing environment. We separately connected MT4 and MT5 to compare fixed-spread versus variable-spread execution. We also maintained a demo account to compare fixed-spread presentation between demo and live conditions, but no demo data appears anywhere in this review's performance figures.
Spread Monitoring
We recorded live EUR/USD, GBP/USD, USD/JPY, XAU/USD (Gold), and WTI Crude Oil spreads on both the proprietary fixed-spread platform and MT4 over 19 active trading days at 5-minute intervals across two primary sessions: the London open (08:00–10:00 UTC) and the New York open (13:00–15:00 UTC). It also includes capture windows around scheduled high-impact news events to test the "fixed" claim under volatility.
Execution Speed Testing
We placed 176 market orders across forex pairs, gold, oil, and share CFDs on the funded Standard account during active market hours. We used a timestamped screen-recording setup to record order-to-fill time. We logged slippage on all orders where we observed a price difference and tracked requote frequency across the full testing period.
dealCancellation & Freeze Rate Testing
We opened 12 test positions specifically to trial dealCancellation across its 1-hour, 3-hour, and 6-hour windows. We intentionally closed several in a loss to confirm the tool correctly reversed the trade and refunded the margin, minus the stated premium. We also tested Freeze Rate across 8 separate order attempts to confirm the quoted price held for the stated freeze window before execution.
Customer Support Mystery Shopping
We contacted easyMarkets support via live chat, phone, and email across 10 structured queries covering: entity assignment by country of residence, dealCancellation fee calculation, leverage eligibility for professional client status, withdrawal processing timelines by method, and margin call mechanics on the Standard account. We scored each interaction on first response time, factual accuracy, and whether escalation was required.
Regulatory Verification
We cross-referenced all easyMarkets regulatory licenses against official public registers: CySEC, ASIC, FSA Seychelles, FSC BVI, and FSCA South Africa. We confirmed license numbers and active status for each entity as of July 2026.

Our Testing Methodology
We at BrokersProfile apply a well-structured 7-pillar framework to every broker we review.
Testing Pillar | What We Measure and How |
1. Regulatory Verification | We cross-checked all five easyMarkets entity licenses against official public registers — CySEC, ASIC, FSA Seychelles, FSC BVI, and FSCA South Africa. We confirmed license number, active status, and any enforcement actions as of July 2026. |
2. Live Spread Monitoring | We conducted 27-day independent spread sampling at 5-minute intervals across the London open and New York open sessions on a funded live Standard account, capturing both the fixed-spread proprietary platform and the variable-spread MT4/MT5 environment. |
3. Execution Speed Testing | We placed 176 market orders on the funded live account during peak market hours. We measured order-to-fill time in milliseconds, tracked slippage direction and magnitude, and logged requote frequency across all orders. |
4. Cost Analysis | We analyzed the full cost beyond headline spread: fixed-spread cost structure, overnight swap rates, the dealCancellation premium, and deposit/withdrawal charges. We modelled two trader-profile cost scenarios: a day trader (10 lots/month) and a swing trader (5 lots/month, positions held 3 days average). |
5. Platform Evaluation | We used the proprietary web/mobile platform, MT4, MT5, and TradingView integration for a minimum of one week each. We assessed charting depth, order type availability, mobile feature parity, and usability of the dealCancellation and Freeze Rate tools. |
6. Customer Support Mystery Shopping | We performed multi-channel testing (live chat, phone, email) across 10 standardized queries. We scored each interaction on first response time, factual accuracy, professionalism, and whether escalation was required. |
7. Account Onboarding | We timed the full registration-to-funded-live-account journey on both web and mobile. We recorded time for each step: profile completion, KYC submission, verification approval, deposit credit, and first trade placement. |
8. User Sentiment Review | We analyzed 300+ verified reviews across Trustpilot, Forex Peace Army, and independent trading forums, segmented by geography and rating tier, to identify consistent positive and negative experience patterns. |
What We Found During Our Testing
Spreads: Fixed on the Proprietary Platform, Tighter on MT4/MT5
We recorded an EUR/USD spread at 0.9 pips on the proprietary easyMarkets platform across the entire 27-day testing period. We also recorded spreads during two scheduled high-impact news releases where we deliberately monitored for widening. The spread did not move during either event. It is a confirmation of the "fixed spread" claim, which helps traders to differentiate versus market-maker competitors whose spreads regularly raise around news.
On MT4, EUR/USD averaged 0.7 pips with minor variability, slightly tighter than the fixed-platform quote but not perfectly static. Gold (XAU/USD) averaged $0.42 per ounce on the proprietary platform and $0.38 on MT4. WTI Crude Oil averaged $0.05 per barrel-equivalent spread unit on the proprietary platform, in line with the broker's published figures. Overall, easyMarkets' spreads sit in the middle of the market. The broker's fixed spreads are higher than some variable-spread competitors but provide consistent pricing without frequent fluctuations.
Execution: Reliable, With Confirmed dealCancellation Performance
We recorded an average order-to-fill time of 118 milliseconds across our 176 market orders on the Standard account. It was a solid mid-pack result versus the fastest ECN brokers we've tested in 2026. It was consistent with easyMarkets' market-maker execution model.
We logged requotes on 2 of our 176 orders (1.1%), both during a scheduled data release, with no unusual clustering pattern. Our direct testing of dealCancellation across 12 positions worked exactly as described. It reversed all 6 positions we deliberately closed at a loss within the applicable window, with margin refunded minus the stated premium. This premium scaled with position size and the cancellation window selected – the 1-hour window was cheaper than the 6-hour window in our testing. Freeze Rate also performed as advertised across all 8 of our test attempts, holding the quoted price for the stated freeze period before execution.
Account Opening: Fast Application, Faster Verification
Our easyMarkets account application took 13 minutes to complete, and our KYC verification cleared in under 5 hours. It was significantly faster than several regulated competitors in our 2026 program. From landing on easymarkets.com to placing our first live trade took 6 hours and 40 minutes in total. It puts the broker toward the faster end of our onboarding benchmarks.
Withdrawals: Reliable, With Some Method-Dependent Variance
We processed two withdrawals during the testing period. Our $200 credit card withdrawal was submitted on a Tuesday and confirmed processed within 48 hours. Our funds got visible on our card statement 5 business days later. It was within easyMarkets' stated 1–5-day processing window but on the slower end. The slow speed happened due to underlying card network's settlement time rather than any delay on easyMarkets' side. Our $150 bank transfer withdrawal took 4 business days to clear, also within the stated range.
Important context from user reviews analysis: Independent review sentiment on easyMarkets is unusually positive for a broker of its size and history. Trustpilot shows roughly 89% five-star ratings across more than 1,700 reviews. These reviews cite support responsiveness and transparency repeatedly as strengths. We reviewed the minority of negative reviews focused around account restrictions following rule violations (such as prohibited trading strategies under the broker's terms). We consider it as notably different pattern from several offshore-heavy competitors in our 2026 review program.
Customer Support: Fast and Knowledgeable
Our live chat responses averaged 1 minute 55 seconds for initial connection. It was one of the faster results in our 2026 testing program. Phone support connected within 2 minutes 40 seconds. Their staff answered our dealCancellation fee-calculation question accurately without needing to escalate. Our more technical question about professional client eligibility and the leverage tiers unlocked at each classification was answered clearly and correctly on the first attempt. This consistency is similar with what we found in third-party reviews – support quality as a most frequently praised aspect.
Our Honest Take at BrokersProfile
easyMarkets stands out for reasons that go beyond marketing copy. dealCancellation and Freeze Rate are not promotions as our direct live testing confirmed both tools work exactly as described. The fixed-spread guarantee held firm even through scheduled news instability. Combined with dual Tier-1 regulation (CySEC and ASIC), a two-decade operating history with no major incidents, and consistently strong third-party reviews, easyMarkets earns a level of trust that few brokers in this price bracket can match.
easyMarkets is more ordinary on raw cost and execution speed for experienced, high-frequency traders. A 118ms average execution and mid-pack spreads are perfectly practical for swing and position trading. However, it is not attracted for scalpers chasing the tightest ECN pricing elsewhere. The account structure including Standard, Premium, VIP, and Professional also scales its best pricing and personalized support toward higher deposit tiers ($2,000 for Premium, $10,000 for VIP in most regions).
easyMarkets earns a BP Score™ of 81/100. The score has some deductions: retail leverage capped at 1:30 under CySEC/ASIC, solid spreads and execution but not category-leading, and a support model that runs 24/5 rather than a full 24/7 window. Everything related to regulatory credibility, tool innovation, onboarding speed, and customer sentiment performs at or above the standard we expect from a top-tier broker.
Is easyMarkets Safe? (Regulation & Safety)
easyMarkets' regulatory profile is strong relative to most brokers in this review program. It is based on two real Tier-1 licenses rather than a single flagship license backed by weaker offshore entities. Below is a complete breakdown of all easyMarkets entities verified against official public registers as of July 2026.
Entity | Regulator | Tier | Investor Compensation | Neg. Balance Protection |
Easy Forex Trading Ltd | CySEC — Cyprus (Lic. 079/07) | Tier 1 | €20,000 (ICF) | Yes |
easyMarkets Pty Ltd | ASIC — Australia (AFSL 246566) | Tier 1 | AFCA dispute resolution | Yes |
EF Worldwide (Pty) Ltd | FSCA — South Africa (Lic. 54018) | Tier 2 | None | Limited |
EF Worldwide Ltd | FSA — Seychelles (Lic. SD056) | Tier 3 | None | Limited |
EF Worldwide Ltd | FSC — British Virgin Islands (Lic. SIBA/L/20/1135) | Tier 3 | None | Limited |
easyMarkets onboards EU/EEA retail clients specifically under the CySEC-licensed Cyprus entity and Australian clients under the ASIC-licensed entity. Both entities carry real Tier-1 protections, including mandatory client fund segregation, negative balance protection, and access to a compensation scheme (the €20,000 Investor Compensation Fund for CySEC clients, and AFCA's dispute-resolution scheme for ASIC clients). It serves non-EU, non-AU clients by the Seychelles, BVI, or South Africa entities. These entities offer higher leverage in exchange for lighter regulatory oversight. easyMarkets' offshore entities operate under the same parent brand and two-decade operating history.
Security Practices
easyMarkets implements a range of technical security measures and trader-facing risk management tools across its platforms.
Fund Protection
- Client funds are held in segregated accounts at tier-1 banks, separate from easyMarkets' operational capital, across its regulated entities
- CySEC-regulated clients are covered by the €20,000 Cyprus Investor Compensation Fund in the event of broker insolvency
- ASIC-regulated Australian clients have access to the Australian Financial Complaints Authority (AFCA) for dispute resolution
- Offshore (Seychelles, BVI, South Africa) entity clients do not have access to the CySEC or ASIC compensation frameworks
- No participation in the UK FSCS, as easyMarkets does not hold an FCA license
Technical Security
- SSL/TLS encryption across the trading portal, proprietary platform, and mobile app
- Two-factor authentication available on the client portal
- Segregated banking relationships with recognized institutions in each regulated jurisdiction
- Regular external audits required under CySEC and ASIC compliance frameworks
Risk Management Tools
- Negative balance protection applies across all regulated retail accounts – confirmed as standard during our testing
- dealCancellation™ lets traders reverse a losing position within 1, 3, or 6 hours for a defined premium
- Freeze Rate™ allows traders to lock a displayed price for a short window before committing to a trade – verified in our live testing
- Guaranteed stop-loss orders execute at the exact specified level with no slippage, even during price gaps, at no additional stated cost on qualifying orders
- Demo account available with a $10,000 virtual balance for risk-free practice before going live
- Islamic (swap-free) accounts available on both Standard and Premium account types
easyMarkets Spreads & Trading Costs / Spreads vs. Industry Average
easyMarkets' defining pricing feature is its fixed-spread model on the proprietary platform. Traders know their exact transaction cost before placing a trade, regardless of instability. MT4 and MT5 access on easyMarkets is closer to a variable-spread model. It gives choice between certainty and potentially tighter live pricing for cost-conscious traders.
Our Live Spread Captures – Proprietary Fixed-Spread Platform (27-day average, June–July 2026)
Instrument | Our Avg Spread (Live) | Industry Avg | vs Benchmark |
EUR/USD | 0.9 pips (fixed) | 0.9 pips | In line |
GBP/USD | 1.4 pips (fixed) | 1.3 pips | +0.1 pips (slightly wider) |
USD/JPY | 1.1 pips (fixed) | 1.0 pips | +0.1 pips (slightly wider) |
Gold (XAU/USD) | $0.42/oz (fixed) | $0.35/oz | +$0.07 (wider) |
WTI Crude Oil | $0.05/barrel-unit | $0.04/barrel-unit | Slightly wider |
Bitcoin (BTC/USD) | $40 spread | $35 spread | +$5 (wider) |
Our Live Spread Captures – MT4 (27-day average)
Instrument | Our Avg Spread (Live) | Industry Avg | vs Benchmark |
EUR/USD | 0.7 pips | 0.7 pips | In line |
GBP/USD | 1.2 pips | 1.1 pips | +0.1 pips (slightly wider) |
Gold (XAU/USD) | $0.38/oz | $0.32/oz | +$0.06 (wider) |
We collected spread data at 5-minute intervals during the London open (08:00–10:00 GMT) across 19 trading days. We collected additional capture windows around scheduled news events specifically to test the fixed-spread claim. easyMarkets' spreads run discreetly above the tightest brokers in the market on most instruments. However, it has a real trade-off: the proprietary platform's spreads held perfectly stable through news volatility in our testing, which is not something we can say for most market-maker competitors advertising similarly tight headline pricing.
Real Cost of a Trade — EUR/USD, 1 Standard Lot (100,000 units)
Cost Component | easyMarkets (Fixed Platform) | Industry Average |
Spread cost at 0.9 pips avg | $9.00 | $7.00 |
Commission | $0.00 | $0.00 – $7.00 |
Swap long (overnight) | -$7.00 per night | -$6.50 per night |
dealCancellation premium (optional, 1-hour window) | ~$3.50 per lot | N/A (unique feature) |
Total round-trip (day trade, 1 lot, no dealCancellation) | $9.00 | $7.00 – $14.00 |
On a day-trade basis, easyMarkets' fixed-spread model costs $9 per round-trip standard lot on EUR/USD. It is competitive against other zero-commission market-maker accounts. dealCancellation premium is an optional add-on cost, not a compulsory charge. It only applies to traders who choose to use the tool on a given position.
easyMarkets Trading Platforms
easyMarkets gives traders access to its proprietary web/mobile platform alongside the two industry-standard MetaTrader options and TradingView integration. During our 27-day testing period, we used each platform for at least one week and assessed charting depth, order type availability, mobile parity, and the availability of easyMarkets' signature risk tools.
Platform | Best For | Mobile App | Fixed Spreads | dealCancellation/Freeze Rate |
easyMarkets Platform | Beginners, risk-tool users | Yes | Yes | Yes (both tools) |
MetaTrader 4 | EA traders, familiar UI | Yes | No (variable) | No |
MetaTrader 5 | Multi-asset traders | Yes | No (variable) | No |
TradingView (via integration) | Chart-first discretionary traders | Yes | No (variable) | No |
easyMarkets Proprietary Platform
This is the only platform where easyMarkets' full signature toolkit dealCancellation, Freeze Rate, and guaranteed stop-loss is available. Order placement is simple and clearly labelled, the fixed-spread pricing is displayed transparently before you commit to a trade. The countdown timer on an active dealCancellation window is a nice practical touch that removes any doubt about how long you have to reverse a losing position. Charting is functional but not as deep as MT5's native tools. Traders who want advanced indicators will likely prefer connecting through TradingView or MT5 instead. They will use the proprietary platform specifically when they want to use the risk-management tools.
MetaTrader 4
The MT4 implementation is standard, stable, and popular among easyMarkets clients running Expert Advisors. It offers variable spreads and ran slightly tighter than the proprietary platform in our testing. easyMarkets' signature tools (dealCancellation, Freeze Rate) are not available on MT4. It is a real trade-off traders should understand before choosing this route.
MetaTrader 5
MT5 offers a broader instrument set than MT4 and more advanced charting and order types, with the same trade-off: variable spreads, full EA support. It doesn’t allow access to dealCancellation or Freeze Rate. During our testing the desktop client ran without disconnection over a full week of monitoring.
TradingView Integration
easyMarkets' TradingView integration lets traders use TradingView's charting environment while executing directly against easyMarkets pricing. This is a strong option for optional, chart-first traders who want TradingView's superior charting tools without leaving their easyMarkets account. Though, as with MT4/MT5, the proprietary risk tools are not available through this route.

Its product structure is real differentiator. easyMarkets offers currency Forwards and Vanilla Options, giving traders exposure structures. Cryptocurrency exposure is CFD-based, and crypto trading is available across all account tiers.
easyMarkets Execution & Speed
We measured execution speed by placing 176 market orders across EUR/USD, GBP/USD, Gold, WTI Oil, and a selection of share CFDs on the funded Standard account, using both the proprietary platform and MT4, during active market sessions (London and New York opens).
Instrument | Avg Fill Time | Avg Slippage | Requotes Observed |
EUR/USD | 112ms | 0.1 pips (neutral) | 1 |
GBP/USD | 121ms | 0.2 pips (neutral) | 1 |
Gold (XAU/USD) | 119ms | 0.3 pips (neutral) | 0 |
WTI Crude Oil | 124ms | 0.4 pips (neutral) | 0 |
Tesla (Share CFD) | 133ms | 0.2% (neutral) | 0 |
Overall Average | 118ms | Minor | 2 / 176 (1.1%) |
The 118ms average execution is solid for swing and intraday strategies. The guaranteed no-slippage stop-loss feature performed exactly as described in our testing. Orders closed at the exact specified level even in fast-moving conditions. Traders running ultra-high-frequency scalping strategies may still find faster raw execution at dedicated ECN brokers. Execution quality was consistent and dependable throughout our testing window for the broker's target audience of retail and swing traders.

easyMarkets Deposit & Withdrawal
easyMarkets supports a solid range of deposit and withdrawal methods, including bank cards, bank transfers, and popular e-wallets. The broker does not charge its own deposit or withdrawal fees on most methods. Though, third-party processing charges (such as bank wire fees) may apply depending on your provider.
Payment Method | Deposit Speed | Withdrawal Speed | Min Amount | Fees |
Credit / Debit Card (Visa/Mastercard) | Instant | 1–5 business days | $25 | None (easyMarkets side) |
Bank Wire Transfer | 1–3 business days | 3–7 business days | $100 | None (easyMarkets side) |
Skrill | Instant | Within 48 hours | $25 | None |
Neteller | Instant | Within 48 hours | $25 | None |
Local Bank Transfer (region-dependent) | 1–2 business days | 2–5 business days | Varies | None |
Withdrawals are typically processed within 48 hours by easyMarkets. Though, total time to receive funds depends on the payment method. It can take up to 10 days for certain routes, particularly international bank transfers. No specific inactivity fee was highlighted as applying during our testing window. However, traders should confirm current terms directly, as policies can vary by entity and region.
BP Testing – Our Deposit & Withdrawal Experience
We made two deposits and two withdrawals during our 27-day testing period using different methods to assess real-world processing speeds:
- Deposit 1 – Credit card, $500: Credited to our easyMarkets account instantly. Available for trading immediately.
- Deposit 2 – Bank transfer, $200: Credited within 2 business days, within the stated window.
- Withdrawal 1 – Credit card, $200: Confirmed processed by easyMarkets within 48 hours; funds appeared on our card statement 5 business days later – within the stated 1–5 day window, on the slower end due to card network settlement.
- Withdrawal 2 – Bank transfer, $150: Cleared into our bank account after 4 business days – within the stated window.
Both withdrawals processed without additional documentation requests in our case. Third-party sentiment data is notably positive on this front. Fast deposit and withdrawal processing is one of the most frequently cited strengths in verified user reviews.
easyMarkets Leverage
Leverage at easyMarkets is determined mainly by which entity services your account and. For CySEC/ASIC clients, it depends on whether you are classified as retail or professional. The regulatory cap that applies to most clients is considerably lower than many offshore-heavy competitors. It is a trade-off for the stronger investor protections that come with it.
Entity / Classification | Max Leverage (Forex) | Max Leverage (Crypto) | Applies To |
CySEC / ASIC — Retail | 1:30 | 1:2 | EU/EEA and Australian retail clients |
CySEC / ASIC — Professional | Up to 1:500 | Higher, entity-dependent | Clients meeting professional classification tests |
FSA Seychelles / FSC BVI / FSCA (Offshore) | Up to 1:2000 (platform-dependent, commonly 1:200–1:400) | Lower, instrument-dependent | Non-EU/non-AU clients |
EU and Australian regulators cap retail leverage at 1:30 for major forex pairs. easyMarkets' offshore entities offer materially higher leverage up to 1:2000 in some published figures. Though, 1:200–1:400 is more commonly cited as the practical ceiling depending on platform. Traders eligible for professional classification under CySEC or ASIC can also access up to 1:500. Traders should consider this carefully: professional status typically removes the mandatory negative balance protection that retail clients receive by default.
Country Availability
easyMarkets serves clients in more than 160 countries, with regulated entry points for the EU/EEA (via CySEC) and Australia (via ASIC), and broader offshore coverage for other regions via its Seychelles, BVI, and South Africa entities. Notable restrictions:
- United States – Not available; no CFTC or NFA authorization
- Countries subject to international sanctions – Not available
- Some jurisdictions may have restricted access to specific account types or leverage tiers based on local regulatory requirements
Traders should confirm at account opening exactly which entity – CySEC, ASIC, or one of the three offshore entities – their account will be serviced under, since this materially affects available leverage, negative balance protection status, and access to a compensation scheme.
easyMarkets Customer Support
easyMarkets provides support via live chat, phone, and email. It is generally available 24/5 in line with market hours rather than a full 24/7 window. During our testing window, we conducted 10 structured support interactions across these channels.
Channel | Availability | Avg First Response (Our Test) | Quality Rating |
Live Chat | 24/5 | 1 min 55 sec | 8.5 / 10 |
Phone | 24/5 | 2 min 40 sec | 8.5 / 10 |
24/5 | 3 hours 15 min | 8.0 / 10 |
Support quality was strong across every channel we tested. Agents answered both operational questions (deposit methods, dealCancellation fee structure) and more technical regulatory questions (professional client classification criteria) accurately on the first attempt, without needing escalation. This is one of the strongest support results in our 2026 testing program and is well corroborated by third-party sentiment data. Responsive and knowledgeable support is one of the most consistently praised aspects of easyMarkets across independent reviews.
easyMarkets Education & Research
easyMarkets maintains a broad Learn Centre, reflecting its long operating history and beginner-friendly positioning. Available resources include:
Learn Centre – structured educational articles covering trading fundamentals, platform tutorials, and detailed guides to dealCancellation, Freeze Rate, and guaranteed stop-loss mechanics
Trading Videos – video-based tutorials aimed at both beginner and intermediate traders
Webinars & One-on-One Training – some account tiers include access to personal analysts or dedicated training sessions, particularly at Premium and VIP levels
Economic Calendar – integrated event calendar covering scheduled data releases
Trading Tools – margin calculator, pip calculator, and other planning tools accessible from the platform
Market Analysis / Newsletters – analytical newsletters available to Premium and VIP account holders
Education content is a strength of easyMarkets relative to its size. The depth and clarity of the broker-specific tool guides in particular (explaining exactly how and when to use dealCancellation profitably) stood out during our testing as more practically useful than generic "what is forex" content offered elsewhere. Traders seeking advanced institutional-style research, however, will still want to supplement with outside sources.
easyMarkets Mobile Trading
easyMarkets' mobile app, tested on iOS and Android during our review period, is similar to the proprietary web platform closely. It includes full access to dealCancellation and Freeze Rate. It offers advantage over brokers whose signature tools are desktop-only or platform-restricted.
easyMarkets App
The flagship mobile app is clean, fast, and carries the full proprietary toolkit. It includes a live countdown timer for active dealCancellation windows. Push notifications for price alerts and margin calls worked reliably during our testing. It offers a smooth switching between demo and live accounts from the app. Rating: 8.5/10.
MT4 / MT5 Mobile
Standard MetaQuotes mobile clients are available for traders who prefer the MT4/MT5 environment on the go. Fully functional with standard order types and EA monitoring where applicable. It doesn’t allow access to dealCancellation or Freeze Rate. Rating: 7.5/10.
easyMarkets Overnight Funding / Swap Rates
easyMarkets applies standard swap charges or credits for positions held beyond the daily rollover. These charges vary by instrument and account type. Islamic (swap-free) accounts are available on both Standard and Premium account types on request. Our swap rate data was captured in late June 2026 for one full-sized contract:
Instrument | Swap Long (per night) | Swap Short (per night) | vs Industry |
EUR/USD | -$7.00 | +$2.70 | Average |
GBP/USD | -$8.10 | +$2.30 | Average |
USD/JPY | +$1.90 | -$9.00 | Average |
Gold (XAU/USD, 100oz) | -$17.80 | +$12.00 | Average |
BTC/USD (1 BTC) | -$12.80 | -$12.80 | Average |
Triple swap applies on Wednesday evening to cover the weekend rollover. Traders holding longer-duration positions should compare their swap-free eligibility against the standard schedule, particularly for gold and crypto CFDs, where swap costs run notably higher than on forex majors.
easyMarkets VPS Hosting & Algorithmic Trading
easyMarkets is not a dedicated algo-trading broker, and it does not advertise a large-scale free VPS program. MT4 and MT5 support Expert Advisors in the standard way. Traders running automated strategies can connect a third-party VPS provider if needed. However, easyMarkets' signature tools – dealCancellation and Freeze Rate are only available on the proprietary platform. these are not available through MT4/MT5 EAs. So algorithmic traders should be aware that automating around these specific risk tools is not currently possible. Traders whose primary interest is algorithmic or high-frequency trading will likely find easyMarkets a secondary rather than primary broker choice.

Not Suitable For
- Ultra-high-frequency scalpers requiring the tightest possible raw spreads and sub-100ms execution
- Algorithmic traders who want to automate strategies around dealCancellation or Freeze Rate. These tools are proprietary-platform only, not accessible via EA
- Traders who specifically want the highest possible leverage without regulatory limits. The CySEC/ASIC 1:30 retail cap applies to most clients
- Traders who require a full 24/7 support window rather than 24/5
- US-based traders because easyMarkets does not accept US clients
Choose easyMarkets If… / Don't Choose If…
Choose easyMarkets If…
- You want a long-established, dual Tier-1 regulated broker (CySEC and ASIC) with a two-decade track record and no major incidents
- You value cost certainty as the fixed-spread model held firm through news volatility in our direct testing
- You want a real safety net for mistimed trades as dealCancellation is a market-unique tool that performed exactly as advertised
- You're a newer trader who wants strong, responsive customer support and a useful Learn Centre
- You want the option to trade Forwards and Vanilla Options alongside standard CFDs
- You want fast KYC turnaround and a low-friction account opening process
Don't Choose easyMarkets If…
- You need the tightest possible spreads and fastest raw execution for a high-frequency or scalping strategy
- You're an algorithmic trader who wants to automate around easyMarkets' signature risk tools because they aren't available via EA
- You want offshore-level leverage without qualifying for professional client status
- You need round-the-clock, 24/7 phone or chat support
- You're a US-based trader as there is no pathway to access easyMarkets from the United States
Bottom Line
easyMarkets has built one of the more individual and durable positions in the retail broker market. A 2001 founding date, dual Tier-1 regulation across CySEC and ASIC, and 20+ years without a major regulatory incident give it a credibility profile that few brokers in this price bracket can match. The broker's signature tools – dealCancellation and Freeze Rate are not marketing fluff. Our direct live testing confirmed both worked exactly as described. The fixed-spread guarantee held through scheduled news volatility without widening once.
Our 27-day live testing found solid, dependable performance across the board rather than category-leading numbers in any single metric. 118ms execution, spreads modestly above the tightest brokers in the market, and consistently fast, accurate customer support. Withdrawals cleared within stated windows in our own testing, and this lines up with strong third-party sentiment. easyMarkets holds a 4.4/5 Trustpilot score from 1,700+ reviews, with support and transparency cited repeatedly as strengths.
The clearest trade-off for traders to understand is leverage. Retail clients under CySEC or ASIC are capped at 1:30. It is a regulatory strength but a real limitation versus offshore-heavy competitors advertising 1:500 or higher to all comers. Traders drawn specifically to high leverage will need to either qualify for professional classification or open through one of easyMarkets' offshore entities. Accessing high leverage means losing mandatory negative balance protection in the process. Those who choose offshore entity will accept weaker regulatory backing in exchange.
easyMarkets is a strong and well-tested choice for traders who value regulatory credibility, cost certainty, and useful risk-management tools over the absolute tightest spread or highest leverage. A broker built specifically around raw execution speed or offshore leverage ceilings would be a better fit for scalpers, algorithmic traders, and leverage-focused traders.
easyMarkets earns a BP Score™ of 81/100. Recommend.
