What Is ACY Securities?

ACY Securities is a global broker offering forex, CFDs, and other assets founded in 2011 with a headquarter in Sydney, Australia. ACY provides more than 2,200 tradable instruments across forex, share CFDs, index CFDs, precious metals, energies, soft commodities, ETFs, and futures CFDs, making it a true multi-asset broker rather than a forex-only specialist.

ACY differentiates itself with an advertised order processing speed of under 30 milliseconds between its trading servers and liquidity providers, research and education tools that include Trading Central and Autochartist integrations, and free VPS hosting provided as part of the ProZero account. It provides a useful cost advantage for algorithmic and EA traders eliminating the need for a separate VPS subscription. The broker also runs a Copy Trading offering, that allows newer traders to copy the positions of more experienced strategy providers directly through its platform ecosystem.

For this review, BrokersProfile compiled and cross-verified ACY Securities' regulatory disclosures, live pricing structure, account terms, and platform specifications, and assessed the findings against independent third-party data and 2026 benchmarks from comparable brokers, including IC Markets, Pepperstone, Exness, and FP Markets. We opened live account documentation review across the Standard and ProZero tiers. We examined the KYC and funding process end-to-end, and mapped ACY's leverage, swap, and execution profile against the regulatory entity a trader would actually be onboarded under based on country of residence.

How We Reviewed ACY Securities

We assess brokers through hands-on account and platform testing, supported by independent verification of spreads, execution, and regulation. We reviewed ACY Securities across its Basic, Standard, ProZero, and Bespoke account tiers. We opened demo and live account applications under the ASIC (Australia) and ACY Capital LLC (offshore) entities. We also cross-checked pricing, leverage, and platform claims against the broker's published Key Information Documents and current terms.

BrokersProfile maintains full editorial independence in every broker review we publish. Any affiliate relationship with ACY Securities does not influence our scores, findings, or conclusions.

Spread and Cost Verification

We recorded live and delayed spread data on the Standard and ProZero accounts across EUR/USD, GBP/USD, USD/JPY, XAU/USD (Gold), and US30 during London and New York session hours. We cross-referenced our findings against ACY's published typical spreads and independent third-party spread monitoring services to establish a reliable average range for each instrument.

Execution and Order Processing Review

We assessed ACY's sub-30ms order processing claim against independently reported execution data. Independent monitoring reported real-world average fill speeds of approximately 90–100 ms in normal trading conditions. We also reviewed requote and slippage disclosures published in ACY's order execution policy.

Regulatory Verification

We manually cross-referenced ACY Securities' regulatory licenses against the official ASIC Financial Services Register and FSCA public register. We confirmed AFSL and FSCA license as active, along with the registration of ACY Capital LLC in St Vincent and the Grenadines. We checked each entity for enforcement actions, active warnings, or sanctions on record.

Platform and Account Evaluation

We tested MT4, MT5, and the ACY Trading Platform across desktop, web, and mobile, evaluating charting depth, order types, EA compatibility, and account-to-platform compatibility across all four account tiers.

Customer Support and Service Review

We contacted ACY Securities support via live chat and email with standardized queries covering minimum deposit requirements, ProZero commission structure, VPS eligibility, Islamic account conditions, and leverage differences by entity, scoring each response for accuracy, speed, and professionalism.

Our Testing Methodology

Testing Pillar

What We Measure and How

1. Regulatory Verification

Manual cross-check of every license against official public registers (ASIC, FSCA), confirming license number, status, and any enforcement history.

2. Spread & Cost Analysis

Live and delayed spread sampling across five core instruments on Standard and ProZero accounts during London and New York sessions, cross-referenced with independent third-party spread trackers.

3. Execution Assessment

Comparison of ACY's advertised order processing speed against independently reported real-world execution data and published order execution policy disclosures.

4. Cost Analysis

Total trading cost review beyond headline spread: commission structures, overnight swap rates, withdrawal fee thresholds, and inactivity policy across beginner and active trader profiles.

5. Platform Evaluation

Hands-on testing of MT4, MT5, and the ACY Trading Platform, assessing charting depth, order types, EA capability, and mobile feature parity.

6. Customer Support Review

Standardized query testing via live chat and email, scored on response time, accuracy, and professionalism.

7. User Sentiment Review

Analysis of verified user feedback across WikiFX, Trustpilot, and independent broker review databases, segmented by rating tier to surface recurring themes.

What We Found During Our Testing

Spreads

ACY's spread structure differs meaningfully by account tier. On the Standard account, we recorded an EUR/USD average close to 1.0 pip during London session hours, consistent with the broker's own published typical spread specification. On the ProZero account, spreads compressed to a range of 0.0 to 0.3 pips on EUR/USD, with a flat $6 round-turn commission per standard lot. It produced an all-in cost broadly in line with the raw-spread segment of the market. The Bespoke account is designed for high-volume and professional traders, offering $5 per lot round-turn commissions alongside tight raw spreads through the dedicated Logix Trader infrastructure.

The ProZero account's 0.10 pip EUR/USD average is in the same range as Pepperstone Razor and Exness Raw Spread. However, its pricing remains less competitive than IC Markets. The $6 round-turn commission is relatively high for the raw-account segment where IC Markets and Pepperstone both charge closer to $7 round-turn all-in once spread is included. Overall, ProZero offers competitive pricing without standing out as a market leader. Spreads on the Standard account increase significantly around high-impact news events, consistent with ACY’s floating-spread model. Traders holding Standard positions through major data releases should expect temporary widening beyond the averages shown above.

Execution

ACY advertises an order processing speed of under 30 milliseconds from its trading servers to its liquidity providers. This latency figure covers the broker-to-liquidity-provider connection, not end-to-end execution experienced by retail clients. An independent third-party monitoring of ACY's live execution has recorded real-world average fill times closer to 90–100 milliseconds under normal market conditions. It is a meaningful gap from the headline figure. However, it still lies within an acceptable range for the mid-tier ECN-style broker segment.

Traders should treat the sub-30ms figure as an infrastructure specification. The 90–100ms range recorded through independent testing is broadly comparable to Admirals and ThinkMarkets. However, it is slower than pure ECN specialists such as IC Markets and Pepperstone, which typically post sub-40ms averages in third-party benchmarking.

Account Opening

ACY's account opening process is fully digital. The applicant’s country of residence determines which regulatory entity handles the account. It automatically routes Australian residents to ACY Securities Pty Ltd under ASIC, South African residents to ACY Securities SA under the FSCA, and most other international residents to ACY Capital LLC. After completing the registration form and identity questionnaire, applicants upload a government-issued photo ID and a proof-of-address document for KYC verification. Verification is typically completed within one business day once documents are submitted correctly. This can extend if additional information is requested. Card and e-wallet deposits instantly reflect in the trading account after verification, while bank wire transfers take longer to clear.

Deposits and Withdrawals

ACY Securities charges no fee on deposits. The broker processes free of charge bank wire deposits. A client's own bank may apply an intermediate fee on international transfers. Withdrawals are free for the first three requests per calendar month. A flat $25 processing fee applies to each additional withdrawal within the same month, after which withdrawal fees return to zero at the start of the next billing cycle.

This fee structure is important for traders who make frequent, smaller withdrawals. It potentially reduces net returns compared with brokers that allow unlimited withdrawals at no cost.

Customer Support

We tested ACY's live chat and email support with standardized queries. Responses through live chat were normally quick and accurate for straightforward account and pricing questions. The Islamic account eligibility query required more detailed clarification. It is consistent with third-party reports that swap-free account availability at ACY depends on account type, residency, and case-by-case approval and not available across all tiers. ACY's support operates 24 hours a day during the trading week, though weekend live support is limited. It is a relevant consideration for traders in Asia-Pacific and Middle East time zones active during Saturday and Sunday sessions.

Our Honest Take at BrokersProfile

ACY Securities delivers a real broad multi-asset offering, Tier-1-linked regulatory credibility through its ASIC license, and one of the more accessible entry points into raw-spread ECN-style trading in the market today. ProZero is available from a $200 minimum deposit and Basic/Standard from just $50. The free VPS hosting included with ProZero is a real cost advantage for algorithmic and EA-driven traders. ACY offers broader market coverage than many similarly sized forex-focused brokers. It offers a 2,200+ instrument library – including forex, shares, indices, ETFs, metals, commodities, and futures CFDs

The critical trade-off is regulatory structure. ACY's ASIC entity restricts retail leverage at 1:30 and comes with the full range of Australian compensation and dispute-resolution protections. Its offshore ACY Capital LLC entity offers leverage up to 1:1000 (with some marketing material referencing figures as high as 1:5000 on select instruments). But it doesn’t offer a comparable formal investor compensation scheme. Traders who prefer maximum regulatory protection should expect leverage to be limited to 1:30 under the ASIC entity. Traders who want higher leverage will be onboarded to a significantly less protected offshore entity. This trade-off is not unique to ACY, but it is worth understanding clearly before opening an account.

Several independent third-party monitoring reported the gap between ACY's advertised sub-30ms order processing claim and the 90–100ms range. This is another factor worth considering with realistic expectations rather than relying on the headline figure alone. The live-tested result is still acceptable for the segment but it is not as compelling as the headline marketing suggests. The fee charged after the first three monthly withdrawals is a small but notable drawback. It is particularly important for traders who prefer withdrawing profits in smaller, more frequent amounts.

Our Verdict: ACY Securities earns its BP Score™ of 81/100 on the strength of its broad instrument range, accessible ProZero raw-spread pricing with bundled free VPS, and credible ASIC regulatory anchor. It is best for active traders looking to minimize costs and EA users who value low entry barriers. It is less suited to traders who specifically require Tier-1 protection combined with high leverage in the same account. ACY cannot offer both at the same time under a single entity.

Is ACY Securities Safe? – Regulation & Safety

The broker maintains separate entities across three regulated jurisdictions: ACY Securities Pty Ltd is licensed and regulated in Australia by the Australian Securities and Investments Commission (AFSL 403863); ACY Securities SA (Pty) Ltd is authorized in South Africa by the Financial Sector Conduct Authority (FSCA 51008); and ACY Capital LLC, incorporated in St Vincent and the Grenadines, serves clients in jurisdictions outside ASIC and FSCA coverage under a lighter-touch framework.

This structure allows ACY to combine Tier-1 Australian oversight for domestic clients with globally accessible offshore trading conditions for international clients, including higher leverage ceilings.

Offshore registration; no formal compensation scheme

ACY’s ASIC-regulated AFSL entity provides its strongest layer of regulatory protection, including segregated client funds, Australian financial-services requirements, and access to AFCA. It is a real independent dispute-resolution option that many offshore-only brokers do not provide.

The FSCA entity provides a similar but less comprehensive compliance framework for South African clients. ACY Capital LLC’s St Vincent and the Grenadines registration offers the lowest level of regulatory oversight of the three. SVG is not mostly viewed as offering strong financial-market oversight. Clients under this entity should understand they are trading with significantly reduced formal investor protection compared with ASIC clients, even though trading conditions (leverage, instrument access) are typically more lenient.

Security Practices

Client Fund Segregation

ACY Securities holds client funds in segregated accounts, separate from the company's own operating capital, across its regulated entities. This is standard practice for reputable brokers and reduces (though does not eliminate) counterparty risk in the event of company insolvency.

Negative Balance Protection

ACY Securities provides negative balance protection to retail clients under its ASIC entity. It is consistent with Australian regulatory requirements limiting client losses to their deposited equity. Traders should directly confirm the coverage terms for clients under the FSCA and offshore entities, as protections can vary by jurisdiction and account type.

Compensation Scheme Coverage

Unlike UK (FSCS) or EU (ICF) regulated brokers, ASIC does not provide a statutory compensation scheme comparable to those available under FCA or CySEC regulation. For Australian clients, protection primarily comes from ASIC’s licensing and capital requirements for AFSL holders, together with access to AFCA for complaints. Clients under the FSCA and SVG entities have no formal compensation scheme protection at all. Traders should confirm which ACY entity they will ultimately be onboarded under.

Risk Management Tools

ACY Securities supports standard stop-loss, take-profit, and trailing stop order types across MT4, MT5, and the ACY Trading Platform. The broker's Trading Widget and Economic Calendar tools help clients plan around scheduled volatility events. Its VPS hosting supports continuous operation of automated risk-management strategies such as EA-based stop-loss and hedging systems. ACY does not appear to offer its own risk-scoring or exposure-monitoring tools other than MetaTrader’s native functionality. This is largely consistent with what is offered across the wider retail broker segment.

ACY Securities Spreads & Trading Costs vs. Industry Average

ACY offers different pricing models across its account tiers, with wider commission-free spreads on Basic and Standard and raw spreads with commissions on ProZero and Bespoke. Choosing the right account tier for your trading frequency is the most important cost decision for a prospective ACY client.

The Standard account’s 1.00-pip EUR/USD average falls within the normal range for commission-free accounts. Though it is not competitive for active trading. Traders placing more than a few standard lots per month will save significantly by moving to ProZero. The ProZero account's 0.10 pip average, combined with the $6 round-turn commission, produces an all-in EUR/USD cost of approximately $7 per standard lot. It is directly in line with the raw-spread market average and close to what FP Markets and Admirals charge on their comparable raw-pricing tiers.

Real Cost of a Trade – Two Trader Profiles

Profile A – Casual Trader, EUR/USD, Standard Account, 1 Standard Lot:

Average spread: 1.00 pip | Commission: $0.00 | Total cost per lot: approx. $10.00 | Overnight swap (1 night, long): variable, typically several dollars per lot depending on prevailing rates.

The roughly $10-per-lot cost makes the Standard account more appropriate for occasional traders who value simplicity over reduced pricing. Anyone trading with regularity should expect this account to become expensive comparative to ProZero at any meaningful volume.

Profile B – Active Trader, EUR/USD, ProZero Account, 1 Standard Lot:

Average spread: 0.10 pip | Commission (round-turn): $6.00 | Total cost per lot: approx. $7.00 | Overnight swap (1 night, long): variable.

At approximately $7 per standard lot, the ProZero account is competitive with other the raw-spread brokers. However, it does not match the lowest pricing available from ECN-style brokers. For a trader placing 20 standard lots per month, ProZero costs roughly $140 in total trading costs versus approximately $200 on the Standard account at the same volume. It is a significant monthly saving that justifies the additional $150 in minimum deposit required to access ProZero.

ACY Securities Trading Platforms

MetaTrader 4 (MT4)

MT4 remains available across ACY's Basic, Standard, and ProZero accounts. It offers the full MQL4 algorithmic trading environment with no restrictions on scalping, hedging, or EA-based strategies. It is available on Windows desktop, WebTrader, and iOS/Android mobile, and remains the preferred choice for traders with existing MQL4-based EA libraries.

MetaTrader 5 (MT5)

ACY’s MT5 platform provides more functionality than MT4, including extra timeframes, an economic calendar, Depth of Market, and additional order types. MT5 provides access to ACY's full instrument library, including share CFDs and futures CFDs that are not available through MT4. It is the recommended platform for traders who want to experience beyond core forex and metals.

ACY Trading Platform

ACY's proprietary web and mobile platform is built for accessibility. It offers a cleaner interface than MetaTrader for newer traders alongside integration with ACY's Copy Trading service. It supports the broker's core instrument set and one-click execution. However, it offers a more limited indicator and EA environment than MT4/MT5, making it better suited as a secondary platform for serious algorithmic traders.

Logix Trader (Bespoke Account)

Reserved for Bespoke account holders, Logix Trader provides institutional-grade execution infrastructure. It offers deeper liquidity access and lower latency than the standard MT4/MT5 environment. This supports the premium positioning of the $10,000-minimum Bespoke tier.

The platform supports full EA compatibility and Depth of Market functionality. It targets high-volume and professional traders who require execution quality beyond typical retail-tier infrastructure.

ACY Securities Account Types

ACY Basic Account

The Basic account is ACY's entry point, which requires only a $50 minimum deposit with zero commission on trades. It supports micro-lot trading from 0.01 lots. It is mostly accessible for traders managing risk carefully while learning. It also includes direct access to ACY's Trading Education Hub. It is not designed for active or high-frequency trading due to its wider, spread-inclusive pricing.

ACY Standard Account

The Standard account complements Basic with similar commission-free, spread-inclusive pricing. It serves as ACY’s general-purpose retail option for traders who prefer not to meet ProZero’s higher minimum deposit or pay commissions.

ACY ProZero Account

The ProZero account is ACY’s main raw-spread account and a key competitive advantage. At a $200 minimum deposit, it delivers spreads from 0.0 pips with a flat $6 round-turn commission per standard lot. It also offers free VPS hosting to eligible clients, helping algorithmic and EA traders avoid separate costs for low-latency server hosting. This is the account most active ACY Securities traders should consider.

ACY Bespoke Account

The Bespoke account targets high-volume and professional traders with a $10,000 minimum deposit. It offers the lowest available commission at $5 per lot round-turn, and premium execution through the dedicated Logix Trader platform. It previously won recognition as one of the strongest premium trading account offerings in its category. It provides competitive trading conditions for clients able to meet the higher minimum capital requirement.

ACY Demo Account

ACY offers unlimited demo account access across MT4, MT5, and the ACY Trading Platform. It allows traders to test strategies and explore the platform using live pricing without risking real funds.

ACY Securities Markets & Instruments

ACY Securities provides access to more than 2,200 tradable instruments across a diversified asset range.

Although it still offers fewer instruments than the largest multi-asset brokers. Soft commodities such as cocoa, sugar, and orange juice help ACY stand out for traders seeking more diverse market exposure.

ACY Securities Execution & Speed

ACY advertises order processing speeds of under 30 milliseconds between its trading servers and liquidity providers. This metric covers the broker-to-liquidity-provider connection, not the full retail order execution process. It is important for traders to understand the distinction.

Positioned this way, ACY's real-world execution profile sits in the same broad tier as Admirals and ThinkMarkets. This is not a disqualifying weakness for most retail trading styles. Scalpers and high-frequency traders whose strategies depend on the fastest possible fills should consider this gap carefully against ACY's other advantages, such as its bundled free VPS on ProZero, which can help offset network-related latency for automated strategies.

Opening an Account with ACY Securities – Step-by-Step

Step 1: Register Your Account

Visit ACY's website and click to open a live account. Select your country of residence — this determines automatic routing to the suitable entity. Enter your name, email address, and mobile number, then create a password for your client portal and confirm your email via the verification link.

Step 2: Provide Personal and Financial Information

Complete your residential address, employment status, and trading experience questionnaire, which regulated entities use to assess product suitability for CFD trading.

Step 3: KYC Documents

Upload a government-issued photo ID (passport, driver's license, or national ID) and a proof-of-address document dated within the past three months, such as a utility bill or bank statement. Verification is typically completed within one business day for correctly submitted documents.

Step 4: Choose Your Account and Platform

Select your account type – Basic, Standard, ProZero, or Bespoke. Choose your preferred platform (MT4, MT5, or the ACY Trading Platform; Logix Trader is assigned automatically for Bespoke). Choose your base account currency from the ten supported options.

Step 5: Fund and Begin Trading

Deposit via bank transfer, credit or debit card, or supported e-wallets including Skrill, Doku Wallet, and China UnionPay. Card and e-wallet deposits typically reflect close to instantly; bank transfers take longer to clear. Once funded, log into your chosen platform and begin trading.

ACY Securities Deposit & Withdrawal

ACY Securities does not charge deposit fees. Bank wire deposits are processed free of charge on ACY's end. A client's own bank may apply charges on international transfers. Withdrawals are free for the first three requests each calendar month.

Withdrawal Fee Structure

Beyond the first three free withdrawals in a calendar month, ACY Securities applies a flat $25 processing fee per additional withdrawal, with withdrawals becoming free again once the new month starts. This is a meaningful consideration for traders who prefer withdrawing smaller amounts frequently. No more than three withdrawals per month allows clients to avoid the fee.

Inactivity Fee

ACY Securities does not charge an inactivity fee, which is a practical benefit for part-time or occasional traders who may leave funds untouched in their account between trading sessions.

Supported Base Currencies

ACY Securities supports ten base account currencies: USD, EUR, GBP, AUD, CAD, NZD, JPY, SGD, HKD, and ZAR. This is a broad range that helps traders across multiple regions avoid unnecessary currency conversion costs at deposit and withdrawal.

ACY Securities Leverage

ACY determines leverage based on the regulatory entity assigned to each client, with the client’s country of residence determining that entity rather than a free choice during sign-up.

The 1:1000 leverage available through ACY Capital LLC (with some marketing materials referencing figures up to 1:5000 on select instruments) is among the higher tiers offered by regulated multi-entity brokers. It comes paired with the reduced investor protections of the SVG registration. It offers no formal compensation scheme and holds lighter compliance oversight relative to ASIC. Traders should approach very high leverage figures with caution regardless of which entity offers them. Higher leverage increases both potential gains and potential losses on the same capital base.

ACY's support team handled straightforward account and pricing queries accurately and without significant delay. The Islamic swap-free account eligibility query required additional clarification, consistent with third-party reports noting that swap-free availability depends on account type, residency, and case-by-case approval rather than being offered uniformly across the platform.

ACY Securities Education & Research

ACY Securities provides a solid research and education offering for a broker of its size, combining third-party tools with its own content. The broker integrates Trading Central and Autochartist and two well-regarded third-party technical analysis. It also offers pattern-recognition tools that support both discretionary and systematic trading decisions.

Educational Resources

ACY's Trading Education Hub includes eBooks, and structured webinars and seminars. It also offers a dedicated trading course covering forex fundamentals and more advanced strategy concepts.

Content quality is described consistently across third-party reviews as practical rather than academic. It is specifically designed to help traders apply concepts directly rather than focus on extensive theory. Not all educational materials are available across every supported language. It is a minor limitation for non-English-speaking clients relative to the broker's broader multilingual support commitment.

Market Analysis and Research Tools

ACY provides in-house daily market analysis covering major currency pairs, commodities, and global indices. Its Trading Central and Autochartist integrations are best for automated technical analysis and pattern alerts. Traders can use the integrated Economic Calendar and Trading Widget to plan sessions around scheduled market events. The mix of in-house analysis and established third-party tools gives ACY a research offering that compares well with similarly sized brokers. However, it does not match the scale of the largest multi-asset platforms in the market.

ACY Securities Mobile Trading

ACY Securities supports mobile trading through MT4, MT5, and the ACY Trading Platform, each available on iOS and Android. The MT4 and MT5 mobile apps provide close feature parity with their desktop counterparts. It also includes full order management, charting, and access to ACY's instrument library. The ACY Trading Platform's mobile app is designed with a cleaner, more accessible interface aimed at newer traders. It integrates directly with the broker's Copy Trading service, allowing clients to monitor and manage copied strategies on the go. Across all three apps, mobile order execution routes through the same underlying infrastructure as desktop trading. Traders should not expect a meaningful difference in pricing or execution quality between mobile and desktop access.

ACY Securities Overnight Funding / Swap Rates

ACY Securities applies standard overnight swap charges on positions held open past the daily rollover. The customary triple-swap charge applied on Wednesdays to account for weekend settlement across most forex and CFD instruments. Swap rates are instrument-specific and adjust periodically in line with usual interbank interest rate differentials.

ACY's published swap methodology is broadly consistent with industry-standard practice. The broker does not disclose systematically wider swap rates relative to comparable brokers in independent reporting. Traders holding positions overnight particularly over the Wednesday triple-swap rollover should check current swap rates directly within their MT4/MT5 platform specification window before entering multi-day positions. These rates adjust periodically and can vary meaningfully by instrument.

Islamic (Swap-Free) Account

ACY Securities offers a swap-free account option for eligible clients, primarily available on the Standard account tier. Availability depends on account type, country of residence, and case-by-case approval rather than being offered automatically across all account tiers. Traders who require a swap-free structure should confirm eligibility directly with ACY support before funding an account, particularly if intending to open a ProZero or Bespoke account.

ACY Securities VPS Hosting & Algorithmic Trading

VPS Hosting

ACY Securities provides free VPS hosting to eligible ProZero and Bespoke account holders. It is a strong addition relative to brokers that only offer discounted third-party VPS access. Free VPS hosting eliminates a recurring expense for algorithmic and EA traders, who might otherwise pay $30–$50 per month for similar low-latency hosting.

Eligibility criteria (such as minimum account balance or trading volume) should be confirmed directly with ACY, as free VPS provision is commonly tied to account activity thresholds across the industry.

EA Compatibility and Algorithmic Trading

ACY Securities fully supports the MQL4 and MQL5 environments across MT4 and MT5. It enables Expert Advisor deployment, scalping, hedging, and grid-based strategies under the broker's standard trading terms. MetaTrader Scripts are also available, providing traders with a library of pre-built tools and indicators to support automated and semi-automated strategy execution. Bespoke account holders gain additional execution-quality advantages through Logix Trader, which is built for higher-frequency and institutional-style automated strategies.

Not Suitable For

  • Traders who need Tier-1 regulatory protection combined with high leverage in the same account, as ACY's ASIC entity caps retail leverage at 1:30 while its higher-leverage offshore entity carries materially reduced investor protection
  • Traders who want UK or EU-based compensation scheme coverage (FSCS/ICF), as ACY does not hold an FCA or CySEC license
  • Traders who withdraw frequently in small amounts, as the $25 fee applied after three free withdrawals per calendar month
  • Traders who expect the advertised sub-30ms execution figure to reflect end-to-end retail fill time, as independently reported real-world averages run closer to 90–100ms
  • Traders who require a swap-free account by default on ProZero or Bespoke, because Islamic account availability is primarily tied to the Standard tier and subject to case-by-case approval
  • Traders who need weekend live customer support, as ACY's coverage is strongest during the standard trading week
  • Beginners who might be tempted by very high offshore leverage without fully understanding the amplified risk of loss that comes with it

Choose ACY Securities If… / Don't Choose If…

Choose ACY Securities If:

  • You want a broad multi-asset instrument range – 2,200+ instruments including forex, shares, indices, metals, commodities, ETFs, and futures CFDs under one account
  • You are an active trader or EA user who wants raw spreads from 0.0 pips with a $6 round-turn commission on ProZero, plus bundled free VPS hosting
  • You want Tier-1 Australian regulatory oversight and are comfortable with the corresponding 1:30 retail leverage cap under the ASIC entity
  • You are starting with limited capital, as Basic and Standard accounts require only a $50 minimum deposit
  • You want access to Trading Central and Autochartist research tools alongside in-house daily market analysis at no extra cost
  • You are a high-volume or professional trader who can meet the $10,000 Bespoke minimum for premium Logix Trader execution and the lowest available commission

Don't Choose ACY Securities If:

  • You need FCA or CySEC regulation specifically for FSCS or ICF compensation scheme protection
  • You want the absolute fastest execution available in the market, as independently reported fill times trail pure ECN specialists like IC Markets and Pepperstone
  • You withdraw small amounts very frequently, given the withdrawal fee that applies beyond three free withdrawals per month
  • You require guaranteed swap-free trading across every account tier without needing separate eligibility approval
  • You need 24/7 weekend customer support for time-sensitive account issues

Conclusion

ACY Securities is a credible, broadly capable multi-asset broker for traders who want ASIC regulatory backing combined with accessible raw-spread pricing and a meaningfully wide instrument range. The ProZero account's $200 minimum deposit, spreads from 0.0 pips, $6 round-turn commission, and bundled free VPS hosting represent a strong value package for active and algorithmic traders. The broker's 2,200+ instrument library across forex, shares, indices, ETFs, metals, commodities, and futures CFDs gives it a real breadth against forex-focused competitors.

ACY faces a structural drawback from the differences across its three regulatory entities: maximum protection under ASIC comes with a 1:30 retail leverage cap, while higher leverage is only available through the less-protected offshore ACY Capital LLC entity. ACY’s advertised sub-30ms figure differs notably from the 90–100ms range reported by independent monitoring, so the two figures should not be treated as directly equivalent. The withdrawal fee structure beyond three free monthly requests is a minor but real consideration for frequent small withdrawals.

Overall, ACY Securities is best suited to cost-conscious active traders, EA and algorithmic strategy users who value the free VPS inclusion, and traders who prioritize a broad multi-asset instrument set over the single fastest execution figure in the market. ACY Securities earns its BP Score™ of 81/100, as a well-rounded broker with real strengths in cost efficiency and asset breadth. The trade-off is a regulatory structure where traders must choose between maximum protection and higher leverage.

Pros & Cons

Cons

  • Advertised sub-30ms execution reflects server-to-liquidity-provider latency; independently reported real-world average fill times run closer to 90–100ms

BP Score™ Breakdown

Our proprietary BP Score™ aggregates dozens of weighted data points across regulation, costs, platforms, execution, asset coverage and customer support. ACY Securities earns a final score of 81/100.

regulation & Trust

8.5/10

ASIC Tier-1 anchor entity is genuinely credible; offshore SVG entity carries materially reduced investor protection, and the split structure means clients cannot access maximum protection and maximum leverage simultaneously.

trading Costs

8/10

ProZero's ~$7 all-in EUR/USD cost is competitive within the raw-spread segment; free VPS on ProZero adds real value; withdrawal fee after three free requests per month is a minor drag.

platforms & Tools

8/10

Three-platform architecture (MT4, MT5, ACY Trading Platform) plus Logix Trader for Bespoke is solid; Trading Central and Autochartist integrations are real research plus.

execution Speed

8/10

Advertised sub-30ms server-to-LP latency is an infrastructure spec, not an end-to-end fill guarantee; independently reported ~90–100ms average places ACY in the mid-tier execution bracket.

asset Coverage

8/10

2,200+ instruments across forex, shares, indices, metals, commodities, ETFs, and futures CFDs is broad for a broker of ACY's size.

customer Support

8/10

24/5 multilingual support handles standard queries accurately; weekend coverage is limited, and Islamic account eligibility queries required additional clarification in testing.
