Adding to the pressure, Houthi forces launched a missile and drone attack on the Saudi tanker Amzan off Yanbu in the Red Sea, underscoring that shipping risk now spans multiple choke points, not just Hormuz.

With over a fifth of global seaborne crude passing through these waters, traders are pricing renewed uncertainty into WTI even as physical flows remain largely uninterrupted for now.
